This is a beautiful ornamental plant. Its thin strappy foliage in cheery greens is slashed at the borders and through the centre with deep burgundy or bright red tones.
Could grow in gardens of warmer parts of NZ. If grown indoors require good lighting.
Relatively hardy plant. Use well drained soil.
Keep soil moist in the summer.
